Holly Jo Radtke is an up-and-coming romantic novelist motivated by real-life issues between couples. She is a new author debuting her very first book, The Log House On The Right, after five years of working as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the middle school in her hometown. She finally took the initiative to sit down and start fulfilling her writing dreams in February of 2024. She finds the importance of human connection and showcases the complexities of relationships. When Holly Jo isn’t focused on creating new stories that bring love and empathy together, she enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter and spending time with her two dogs.
My Story
I was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. I come from a family of four and I currently have my own family of three! I grew up writing small stories that my dreams inspired. Anything from day dreaming to my personal dreams; I enjoyed bringing my imagination to life.
​After my journey of nursing, and when my life started to settle down a little bit, I jumped right into writing my first novel. The amount of different kinds of emotions that I experienced during this was insane to say the least. I figured out that my therapy was my writing and that's where my first ideas came about.​
I'm continuing to add to my goals and have many more ideas for other books to come in the future. I'm the most excited to share it all with YOU!!
